About the role

You’ll own the execution of approved merchandise orders from accepted handoff through delivery and issue resolution. Based in Detroit, you’ll coordinate Production Coordinators and suppliers, set priorities, and help the account team make informed decisions when timing, quality, or scope changes.

What you’ll do

• Review incoming order handoffs for completeness and feasibility; accept ready orders and resolve gaps with the account team.
• Confirm required approvals, final specifications, purchase orders, and supplier commitments before releasing production.
• Coordinate workloads and priorities across Production Coordinators, suppliers, and active orders.
• Maintain a clear view of production schedules and delivery risk across items and shipping destinations.
• Resolve supplier, quality, and timing problems, bringing options and impacts to the account team before client commitments change.
• Keep client order updates timely and accurate while Account Managers retain relationship and commercial ownership.
• Oversee shipping follow-through, delivery confirmation, and the records needed for claims or corrective action.
• Coach teammates and improve handoff quality, supplier follow-up, and production processes based on recurring issues.

What you’ll bring

• Experience owning production or order delivery in branded merchandise, apparel, print, or a comparable physical-product business.
• Ability to evaluate specifications, proofs, supplier timelines, and delivery dependencies.
• Experience coordinating people and competing priorities while maintaining quality and clear accountability.
• Practical judgment under pressure, with the ability to explain risks and recommend a next step.
• Strong supplier communication, documentation, and follow-through.
• Comfort working closely with a Detroit team and coordinating with remote colleagues and suppliers.

Ready orders move into production with clear approvals and realistic commitments. Risks are handled early, clients receive dependable updates, and delivery issues are resolved with documented follow-through.
